Description:
Students will receive the bulk of their theoretical learning through cutting edge learning packages consisting of University Level textbooks and extensive online instruction. Subsequently, the student will attend 5 days of hands on labs in the art of Cold Percolation of herbs, and gain working knowledge using the most extensive Herbal Pharmacopia in the world today.
Once completed, the successful student will complete 100 hours of internship using testing devices and making tinctures in a production lab.
The successful graduate may then apply for the designation CCHP (Certified Clinical Herbal Practitioner). The registration fee is $450.00 and is available through CIHS but is an option.
Evaluation:
Full attendance at on site courses
Completion of required reading assignments, online tests and essays
Satisfactory completion of 21 case studies and 2500 word dissertation on one successful case study
A passing grade of 70% or higher on the final theory and practical examinations

Registered/licensed health practitioners may receive exemption from parts of this program providing a transcript from a registered educational institution is sent to CIHS in advance of registration.
